Some of the definitions below are specifically related to our service. Other definitions are general knowledge, summarized from various source on the internet.
- ActionScript
- Macromedia Flash's own embedded scripting language.
- Database Server
- A server specifically meant for data storage and retrieval system. It usually works in conjunction with webserver to generate dynamic content on web pages.
- Domain Transfer
- Traditionally, simply changing the nameservers providing name service for a domain was considered a transfer. Nowadays, such a modification is more rightly called a modification, and the term transfer describes the transfer of a domain from one registrar to another.
- Dynamic Page
- A web page that is returned to the user with custom content based on the results of a search or some other request. For example, our home page randomly generate the snippet of our client's websites.
- E-mail Form
- A web-based form that can be used by the website visitors to send e-mail messages to some specific address, such as the website owner.
- Flash
- Vector graphic animation software from Macromedia that allows Flash graphics to look the same across all browsers, as long as the plug-in is installed. One of the advantages of Flash animations is their relatively fast download time.
- Guestbook
- A logging system that allows visitors to a website to indicate their thoughts about the site or its subject. Normally, other visitors can view previous entries and it does not require creation of a user account, as it is normally an informal method of dropping off a quick note.

- Domain name, hosting account, and website copyright are yours. You are the legal owner of the domain name, as it is your details that is written on the whois information. We are only helping with the registration and settings. If you prefer to manage them yourself, we will provide all of the required information.
- Registrar
- A company or organization which acts as an interface between domain name holders and the registry, providing registration and value-added service.
- Script
- In our website, the term "script" refers to simple application created by a web scripting language.
- Server
- A computer, device, or application on a network that provides or manages network resources.
- Simple Forum
- Unlike a guestbook, forum is meant for discussion so it will be created specifically for that purpose with features like replies to previous posts and topic classification. We can create a simple forum. For a full featured discussion forum we use applications such as IPB or phpBB which has been developed and perfected for years by their developers. We will put modifications to the forum, so it will match your website's look and feel.
- Static Page
- A web page that displays the same information for all users. Although it may be updated from time to time, it does not change with each user retrieval. For example, this page is managed with a database server, but all users will see the same result.
- TLD
- Top Level Domain
- Top Level Domain
- The highest level of the hierarchy in the Domain Name System. The portion of the domain name that comes after the dot. There are two types of TLD, which is gTLD and ccTLD. TLDs are maintained by the registry and registrar.
- Uptime
- Your website is considered "up" when it is viewable over the Internet. Uptime refers to the percentage of time that it will be viewable. A website will be available to the internet when the webserver and its internet connection are running well.
- Webserver
- A server responsible for serving web pages, mostly HTML documents, via the HTTP protocol to clients, mostly web browsers.
